This firearm is one of a kind. The pictures are of the actual revolver you will receive.

This 1934 Enfield No. 2 Mk I is an early pre-war British service revolver featuring both single and double-action trigger. It has an intact hammer spur, which was often changed to spurless when updating to the Mk1* and it is chambered for the .38/200 cartridge.

This is a scarce example of the No2 Mk1 revolver as it is in original configuration with all original metal parts. It was never updated to the No2 Mk1* or ** as most were. The original wood grips were replaced with Bakelite grips made during WWII by Frasier & Glass in London England (F&G Mark on the back side). This could have been due to damage or to the risk of gas impregnation of the wood should an enemy use it. Production numbers for these revolvers are approximately 55,000 so not to many escaped refurbishment. The No2 Mk1 series pistols were made from 1930 to 1957.

All British guns that were to be sold to commercial companies were to be “nitro proofed” and guns being exported to the United States (before 1968) had to be marked with country of origin. This revolver has NONE of these markings which would make one believe it could be a bring back.

As seen in all the pics, it retains all of its original serialized metal parts. All of the proofs and markings are intact and the revolver has its original finish. It also retains the single/double action function as it should. The bore has strong rifling. It is bright and shiny with light scatter pitting.

This firearm must be cleaned and inspected by a qualified gunsmith prior to firing. The firearm listed is sold as is, without warranty expressed or implied. Family Firearms is not liable for any injuries resulting from use.
