This Enfield No. 4 Mk I* Canadian Long Branch Sporterized Bolt Action Rifle in .303 British offers a classic piece of military history reimagined for the modern sportsman. Manufactured at the historic Long Branch facility in Canada in 1943, this rifle has been thoughtfully sporterized to reduce weight and improve handling in the field while maintaining its legendary smooth bolt action and reliability. It is a fantastic choice for hunters, collectors, and surplus enthusiasts looking for an affordable, hard-hitting rifle.
The two groove bore is in good+ condition and is tight. The barrel has been cut down to 23" to remove the bayonet lug.
This rifle has a 300/600 meter flip up rear sight. It features the correct Long Branch Bolt and has matching serial numbers except for the magazine. The bolt has a #2 bolt head and was headspaced checked with a Forrester Field gauge and passed.
