Item: Finnish M39 Mosin Nagant Stock Set w/Hand Guard
Condition: Surplus; Unissued, Stock Set is Finished
Approx. Measurements: 43" long
This stock set is one of a kind. The picture are of the actual stock set you will receive.
This set includes the stock and hand guard. No metal parts or hardware are included. From what we understand these stock came from Europe in unissued surplus condition. They were never installed therefore they do not have any stampings or markings.
We receive a batch of them in unfinished condition (raw wood). We used a mix with what is readily available to finish them using a process as close to the original way as possible to seal them. This process involves heating the mix to 215 degrees and submerging the raw stocks for 20 mins. The stock were then hung and left to dry and then dipped again. As the stock ages it will darken. If further sealing or shine is desired, you can apply stock wax or boiled linseed oil or any finish of your choice.
This stock WILL require fitting to your rifle. If you are unsure on how to do this contact a qualified gunsmith to perform this service. The parts listed are sold as is, without warranty
expressed or implied. Family Firearms is not liable for any injuries
resulting from use.
