This rifle is one of a kind. The pictures are of the actual rifle you will receive.
This rifle was originally manufactured as a 1891 carbine in 7.65x53 caliber by Deutsche Waffen und Munitionsfabriken, or DWM. It went through a “conversion” process in 1931/32 by HAFDASA (Hispano Argentina Fábrica de Automóviles Sociedad Anonima), an Argentine automobile maker. At that time, it is estimated only 5,043 were made making them much harder to come by nice examples than the long rifles or carbines.
This nice complete fully functional example has matching numbers on the barrel, receiver, bolt and the magazine body. The stock is solid and free of cracks, splits, major dents or defects. The bore is good to very good condition with wear to the rifling but no deep pitting.
This
firearm must be cleaned and inspected by a qualified gunsmith prior to
firing. The firearm listed is sold as is, without warranty expressed or
implied. Family Firearms is not liable for any injuries resulting from
use.
