The Remington 870 Express Magnum, Special Purpose is a 12-gauge, pump-action utility shotgun built on the budget-friendly Express line. The special purpose guns have added heavier duty field-ready features and synthetic stock for hard use applications.
The vented barrel is 25” in length which makes it very versatile in its duties. It chambers 2-3/4 inch and 3-inch magnum shells with a 4+1 capacity. It has a Non-glare matte/satin bead-blasted blue finish on metal parts for reduced reflection and rust resistance (matte surfaces hold oil better than high polished). It is equipped to accept interchangeable Rem Chokes which are very common and 3 chokes tubes come with the gun. Modified, improved and full (installed in the gun).
