This firearm is one of a kind. The pictures are of the actual revolver you will receive.
This is a 1933 dated Tula Nagant Revlover. In 1933 the Russians were switching over to producing the TT-33 so only roughly 40,000 Nagant Revolver were made that year.
These revolvers feature an unusual gas seal design with cylinder moving forward when shooting. Because of this feature the cylinder does not swing out to clear spent casings. A “push rod” mounted under the frame to remove the casings. The cylinder is removable for cleaning and maintenance.
This revolver is in good to very good rearsenaled condition. The frame, cylinder and trigger guard have matching numbers. The trigger guard, barrel, frame, trigger, hammer, and loading gate are Tula proofmarked. The bore has good rifling but it is frosted and was blued when the revolver went through the re-arsenaling process. This revolver comes with original holster, lanyard, tool and cleaning rod.
This
firearm must be cleaned and inspected by a qualified gunsmith prior to
firing. The firearm listed is sold as is, without warranty expressed or
implied. Family Firearms is not liable for any injuries resulting from
use.
