This rifle is one of a kind. The pictures are of the actual rifle you will receive.
This beautiful Mossberg 46b was made between 1938-1947. The rifle can shoot .22 short, .22 long or .22 long rifle. It has a full length tube magazine. The tube magazine holds 20 rounds of long rifle and 30 rounds of .22 short cartridges. The trigger is adjustable from 2.5# to 5# trigger pull. The bore is excellent.
This rifle is in exceptional shape for its age with NO cracks or significant damage to the stock and nice original finish (see pics). No cracks in the trigger guard, original quick release sling swivels, quick takedown screw for the action, no cracks or damage to the original buttplate.
The front sight is original and adjustable and it has two options for adding in a rear sight. The original Mossberg No4 scope (4 power) is mounted on the original Mossberg Number 8 scope mount. Looking at all the attachment points, it seems like the rifle was bought in this configuration. The scope works as it should but a little cloudy (may be dirty).
These rifles are very well known for their outstanding accuracy.
